Pond Algae Treatment
Envii Algae Klear Xtra is a pond algae treatment that kills algae and blanket weed, within 2-3 weeks. The unique formula targets the algae directly and kills it down to the root to prevent regrowth and improve oxygen levels in ponds. As well as an effective formula, Envii Algae Klear Xtra also contains a UV light filter to reduce the strength of UV rays and therefore, new algae growth.
Envii Algae Klear Xtra treats algae submerged below the surface of the water, typically attached to pond walls, pumps and plants. If your algae is floating on the surface of the water, Envii Blanketweed Klear will be required. However, if you are unsure which algae you have, you can read our Ultimate Guide To Blanket Weed.
Use Algae Klear Xtra as a pond algae treatment to kill existing algae. To prevent algae, the best method is to use a bacterial product such as Envii Pond Klear to reduce excess nutrients in the water that feed algae. It is also important to maintain a stable pH which can be achieved by using Envii Pond Equaliser.

Check pH of pond before using and use Pond Equaliser if required

Use in the morning when most effective

Use 50ml of Envii Algae Klear Xtra per 1,000 litres of pond water

Add to a watering can of pond water and distribute evenly in pond

Repeat after 7 days if algae is still present and further treatment is required

- Do you add this to the pond with the pump and filter still running?
- We recommend to leave the pump and filter running whilst using Algae Klear Xtra. This helps circulate the water which helps the product aswell. There is no need to turn the UV lights off when using this product.
- Can I use Algae Klear Xtra with any other Envii pond products?
- Once you've used Algae Klear Xtra, you're best to wait 2-3 days before using any other treatment. This just allows enough time for the product to circulate without any interruptions. After 2-3 days, you're perfectly fine to use any other Envii treatments.
