We get it, there are hundreds, if not thousands of multi purpose organic biostimulant and fertilisers on the market that all do the same job. You pour them in to a watering can and they feed your plants throughout the growing season. So, what makes Pre-Flower different from the others and why does it cost more?
Other than it being organic and doubling plant growth within weeks, it comes down three things. Ease of use, quantity and quality.
Ease of Use
We try to make all of our products easy to use, as we know that time is precious. When developing Pre-Flower we wanted to make it as easy as possible for you to apply to your plants. So, with every bottle, we supply a free hose end sprayer that makes the application process a two minute job. To see how easy the application is, you can view the how to use video below.
Pre-Flower is part of a two stage treatment. It was developed to treat flowering plants both before and during flowering, be it primrose, strawberries or sweetcorn. If the plant is a crop i.e. strawberries and sweetcorn, Post-Flower can be applied once crops have begun to form. This unique two stage plant feeding method gives plants the desired nutritional support at crucial times during their growth cycle.
Whilst Pre-Flower is s standard one litre bottle (like many other organic biostimulant fertilisers) what makes it different is the concentration that we supply it in. We ensure that you are receiving the maximum amount of nutrients available. As a result, each bottle is capable of treating 300m2. To put that into perspective, each bottle can treat 400 tomato plants, 440 cabbages, 1,000 strawberry plants or 2,300 primrose. Therefore one bottle could quite easily see you through one season.
As we have already mentioned, we have tried to make Pre-Flower as nutrient rich as possible so that your plants benefit from what you feed them. However, we didn’t just want to make a highly concentrated product. So we ensured the nutrients we use are all of the highest quality and the growth you see is quality. All of the nutrients and ingredients used in Pre-Flower have been derived from organically grown plants, making it an organic product that is also suitable for a vegan diet.
We believe that the above three reasons are what make Pre-Flower different to your standard feed. However, if you want to learn more keep reading and we will explain how it works.
The Sciency Bit
Pre-Flower is described an a organic biostimulant rather than a fertiliser as it is aimed as improving the health and development of a plant in it’s early days, rather than just feeding it. It has been recognised in recent years that the maximum potential of plants is determined during the first 30-60 days after germination. Pre-Flower supports plants during this stage, where rapid growth and stress reduction are required to secure healthy, bountiful plants.
Pre-Flower contains a unique blend of essential plant intermediates and biostimulants, all with very important roles;
- Humic Acid – Improves a plants ability to metabolise nutrients
- Fulvic Acid – Improves a plants ability to transport nutrients throughout
- Betaines – Act as an anti-stress nutrient for plants
- Ascophyllum (Seaweed) – Provide nutrients for plants
- L-amino acids – Support the energy system in plants
