Combining Mycorrhizal Fungi & Bacteria

Envii Root Well is an organic blend of mycorrhizal fungi and bacteria that helps increase the nutrient & moisture uptake via plant roots. By creating a further extension to the root system, Envii Root Well helps unlock nitrogen and phosphorus in the soil which is largely beneficial for many reasons. Phosphorus is harder to come by in soil and compost so the use of mycorrhizal is crucial in gathering this element.

Why use bacteria with mycorrhizal fungi?

Whilst mycorrhizal has been around for years and is very important, the use of bacteria enhances it’s performance even further. Bacteria feed off all the vitamins, organic acids & carbohydrates that plants provide naturally. This boosts bacterial activity making nutrients like phosphorus and nitrogen ready and accessible for plants to absorb more easily. Also, the use of bacteria will help protect plants from pathogens & diseases.

We’ve found that bacteria help to promote mycorrhizal establishment within plants whilst mycorrhizal fungi can increase the size of the bacterial population. This highlighted to us how well both work in conjunction with one another.

Envii Root Well comes in a heavily concentrated powder capable of treating up to 80 plants. In our bid to reduce plastic, we reduced our packet sizes down by 96% to be as sustainable as possible but still able to pack a punch.
