Why feed your plants?

Plants need specific nutrients in their diet to grow. Using compost at the beginning of the growing season is a great way to start your plants off on the right foot. However, the nutrients in compost can quickly deplete, meaning that without introducing a feed, your plants will suffer.

Envii Allgrow has a blend of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) in the ratio of 6-2-4. This represents the percentage by weight of each of these nutrients in this fertiliser.

Nitrogen (N) plays a crucial role in the growth of leaves and stems and plays a role in the overall growth and green colour of plants. 6% nitrogen will promote healthy foliage development.

Phosphorus (P) is important for the development of roots, flowers, seeds and fruit. It also aids in energy transfer with the plant. 2% phosphorus will support the establishment of a strong root system and can aid in flowering and fruiting. 

Potassium (K) helps with overall plant health. This micronutrient is involved in regulating various physiological processes such as water and nutrient movement in plant tissue and resistance to stress from disease and cold temperatures. 4% potassium will strengthen a plant’s overall vigour and resilience.
